floqast pricing

FloQast does not publish prices. Vendr reports a median FloQast contract of $24,481 a year across 312 purchases, with deals from $10,147 to $68,727. SpendHound puts the average at $43,303 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees and $74,448 above that. A US bank or credit union licensing close management for one entity usually lands near the Vendr median. Add AI matching, automated reconciliations or compliance, and the quote moves into the $60,000 to $150,000 range that independent estimates describe.

Disclosure: BankAutomation sells reconciliation software to banks and credit unions, so we overlap with FloQast where matching is concerned. Every figure below comes from FloQast's own pricing page or from a named benchmark, and the places where FloQast is the better choice are stated plainly.

What FloQast customers pay according to benchmarks

Four services publish FloQast figures. They measure different populations, which is why the numbers look far apart at first.

SourceFigureWhat it measures
Vendr Median $24,481 a year, range $10,147 to $68,727 312 purchases tracked by Vendr, updated February 2026, average savings 23%
SpendHound Average $43,303 a year (50 to 1,000 employees); $74,448 a year (1,000+ employees) Spend from 160 FloQast customers, updated July 2026. SMB pricing up 20.86% year over year
ERP Research From about $30,000 a year, up to about $80,000 Quote-based annual subscription, no free trial
VendorBenchmark Estimate: 40-user team $40,000 to $55,000 a year for core close; full suite $180,000 to $400,000 VendorBenchmark's own estimates from contract analysis, not FloQast figures

Figures as published by each source, checked October 2026. VendorBenchmark labels its numbers as estimates.

Read together: Vendr's sample leans toward single-entity close deals, which is why its median is the lowest. SpendHound's averages include companies with several modules. VendorBenchmark's upper ranges describe large finance organizations buying the full suite, which few banks need. A community bank or credit union buying close management and account reconciliations should expect to be quoted somewhere between the Vendr median and the SpendHound SMB average, before negotiation.

How FloQast packages and prices its software

FloQast's pricing page lists three packages, each with a contact sales button and no price. It states there are no per-user fees and that pricing is based on business outcomes rather than headcount.

PackageWhat FloQast says it includesWhat it means for a bank
Close Management Close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects, AI Assistant, ERP integration Month end checklist and GL reconciliation sign-off for the accounting team
Close AI (the package FloQast highlights) Everything in Close Management plus AI agents, AI matching including three-way and high-volume transaction matching, automated reconciliations, journal entry posting, variance explanations The package that touches matching volume, and where a bank's quote grows
Risk and Compliance Controls, audit readiness, enterprise risk management, operational audits, control testing; sold alone or with a close package SOX-style control testing, relevant for public bank holding companies

Swipe the table sideways to read every column.

The older module names still show up in benchmarks and quotes: AutoRec for automated matching, Reconciliation Management, Flux Analysis for variances, and Compliance Management. Vendr lists the price drivers as entity count, user count, modules selected and contract term. VendorBenchmark still quotes a per-user estimate of $65 to $110 a month for core close, which conflicts with FloQast's own no per-user fees statement. Treat that as a historical estimate and ask for the outcome metric your quote is actually built on.

What drives a FloQast quote up at a bank

  • Matching volume. Close AI's high-volume transaction matching is where bank data lands: ACH, card, ATM and Fed activity. VendorBenchmark estimates AutoRec at $25,000 to $120,000 a year and says band upgrades can add 15 to 25 percent at renewal if volume has grown 30 percent or more.
  • Entities. A holding company with a bank, a mortgage subsidiary and an insurance agency is three entities, and entity count is the first driver Vendr names.
  • Compliance. A public bank holding company that adds Risk and Compliance for SOX testing adds a separate package. VendorBenchmark estimates $30,000 to $150,000 a year for it.
  • Implementation. VendorBenchmark estimates $20,000 to $60,000 and 6 to 10 weeks for a clean mid-market rollout on one ERP. Premium ERP connectors add $15,000 to $60,000 in year one in its estimate.
  • Renewal uplift. VendorBenchmark puts the typical base renewal increase at 6 to 10 percent, and SpendHound measured SMB prices up about 21 percent in a year.

Where FloQast fits a bank and where it does not

FloQast is a strong close management product for accounting teams that work in an ERP and in Excel. Banks and credit unions do use it. The Credit Union of Southern California, with $3.9 billion in assets on Jack Henry Symitar, published a case study on moving its close from six days to five with FloQast Close and AI variance analysis. For the controller's checklist, reconciliation sign-off and variance commentary, it is a reasonable choice and often cheaper than BlackLine.

It fits less well where most bank reconciliation hours go: matching settlement activity every morning. FedACH windows, card network settlement, ATM switch files, Fed statements and correspondent MT940 or camt.053 files are not ERP data. They come from the core and the payment rails, they need one to many grouping and rail-specific timing windows, and their exceptions need an owner by noon rather than at month end. Those workloads can be pushed into Close AI matching, but the matching volume is what grows the quote, and the files still have to be mapped. The fuller list of options is in our FloQast alternatives for banks guide, and what daily matching needs to do on bank data is covered on our transaction matching software page.

One more thing worth checking before you blame the close tool for a slow close: at many banks the days are lost in accounts payable accruals, because vendor invoices arrive as PDFs and are keyed by hand. Automated invoice data extraction removes that step for far less than a larger close package.

How to negotiate FloQast pricing

Vendr reports average savings of 23 percent on FloQast deals, and VendorBenchmark puts the typical negotiated discount at 20 to 30 percent off the first quote, more with competing bids and multi-year prepaid terms. The levers that work for banks:

Step 01

Split close from matching

Price Close Management for the controller's team on its own. Get a separate quote for daily matching before you accept Close AI as a bundle.

Step 02

Bring real counts

Entities, accounts in scope and monthly transaction volume by rail. Overstating them inflates the quote, understating them creates a true-up.

Step 03

Get competing written quotes

FloQast, BlackLine and Trintech all quote, so written numbers on your own volumes are the only fair comparison. Our BlackLine pricing, Trintech pricing and OneStream pricing posts list the benchmarks for each.

Step 04

Cap the renewal in the contract

Write down the base renewal increase, the price of an added entity and what happens when matching volume crosses the next band.

On annual billing, BankAutomation Operations costs $7,200 a year for 250,000 matched items a month and up to 10 users, and Platform $23,400 a year for 2,000,000 items, unlimited sources, up to 50 users and maker-checker approvals. A common split at a community bank or credit union is FloQast for the controller's month end and a daily platform for ACH reconciliation software, debit card reconciliation software and the Fed account. The full price list is on our pricing page, and 16 platforms are compared in the reconciliation software comparison for banks.

Questions buyers ask

How much does FloQast cost per year?

FloQast does not publish prices. Vendr reports a median of $24,481 a year across 312 purchases, ranging from $10,147 to $68,727. SpendHound puts the average at $43,303 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees and $74,448 for larger ones. Implementation is usually extra.

Does FloQast charge per user?

FloQast says it does not. Its pricing page states there are no per-user fees and that pricing is based on business outcomes, sold as Close Management, Close AI and Risk and Compliance packages. Vendr still lists user count among the drivers, so ask your rep exactly which metric sets your price.

How much does FloQast implementation cost?

FloQast quotes implementation separately. VendorBenchmark estimates $20,000 to $60,000 and 6 to 10 weeks for a mid-market team on one ERP, and $80,000 to $250,000 for large multi-entity rollouts. A bank with a single entity and a standard core export will sit at the low end.

Is FloQast worth it for a credit union?

For the month end close, often yes. The Credit Union of Southern California cut its close from six days to five with FloQast. For daily share draft, ACH, card and Fed matching, a credit union usually pays less with a platform built for those files, such as our credit union reconciliation software, and keeps FloQast for the close.

What is a cheaper alternative to FloQast for daily bank matching?

BankAutomation publishes plans from $1,200 a month, or $7,200 a year on annual billing, for 250,000 matched items a month across ACH, card, ATM, Fed, cash and loan accounts, priced per institution. It does not run the close checklist, so most banks pair it with FloQast or BlackLine rather than replacing either.

Price the daily matching before your FloQast quote

The resolver at the top of this page runs BankAutomation's matcher on sample USD card settlement data, so you can see how a settlement is grouped to its postings and how breaks are classified before you talk to anyone. If it covers the matching part of your FloQast quote, price that part separately and keep the close where it works.
