trintech pricing
Trintech does not publish pricing for any of its products. Benchmarks put the average Trintech customer at about $119,000 a year for mid-size companies and $266,000 a year for enterprises (SpendHound, October 2026, 160 customers). Adra modules are estimated at $15,000 to $180,000 a year each, Cadency at $60,000 to well over $300,000, and ReconNET and Frontier are quote only with no public benchmark.
Disclosure: BankAutomation sells reconciliation software to banks and credit unions, so we compete with Trintech on daily matching. Every figure below is either published by a named benchmark or labeled as a competitor's estimate. Where no number exists, we say so instead of guessing.
Trintech pricing by product
Trintech sells five reconciliation products that a US bank or credit union can end up quoted for. They are priced on different meters, which is why two institutions of the same size can get very different numbers.
No benchmark from Vendr or G2. Rival vendors estimate $60,000 to $150,000 a year mid-size and $300,000 to $1M+ for large enterprises, plus $100,000 to $500,000 of services
Per user for Balancer and Task Manager, transaction tiers for Matcher
VendorBenchmark estimate: $55 to $95 per user a month for Balancer plus Task Manager; Matcher $15,000 to $140,000 a year; typical total $40,000 to $200,000 a year
ReconNET
Daily transaction matching for credit unions and community banks: share draft, ACH, ATM, Fed

The only spend benchmark that covers Trintech as a whole is SpendHound, which tracks 160 Trintech customers. It reports an average of $119,272 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees and $266,412 a year for enterprises over 1,000 employees, based on 26 enterprise customers, with enterprise pricing up 8.92 percent year over year. Those averages mix Cadency and Adra buyers with very different scopes, so treat them as a sanity check, not a quote.
For comparison, Vendr shows a median of $40,125 a year for BlackLine across 74 purchases and $24,481 a year for FloQast across 312. Trintech's average sits above both, largely because Cadency deals are enterprise sized and include matching volume.
Adra pricing in detail
Adra is the Trintech product most credit unions and community banks are quoted for, and it is the only one with a detailed public estimate. VendorBenchmark breaks it down by module.

VendorBenchmark estimates. A mid-market Matcher deployment at 300,000 to 500,000 transactions is estimated at $15,000 to $40,000 a year; 3M to 10M transactions exceeds $120,000.
The Matcher tiers matter most for banks. A credit union matching share drafts, ACH, card and ATM settlement daily can pass 2 million matched items a year without being large, which moves it up a tier at renewal. If that is where your quote is heading, the Trintech Adra alternative page maps each Adra module to a replacement.
Cadency pricing
Cadency is Trintech's enterprise platform and is priced accordingly. No independent benchmark publishes a Cadency number. The figures in circulation come from vendors that compete with it: one puts it at $60,000 to $150,000 a year for mid-size deployments, another at $300,000 to more than $1 million a year for large enterprises with $100,000 to $500,000 of professional services. Both are competitor estimates and should be read that way.
For a bank holding company, the question is usually whether daily settlement matching belongs inside Cadency at all. Cadency's connectors are ERP connectors (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Workday), not core banking or Nacha files, so daily ACH, card and Fed matching often still runs in spreadsheets beside it. The Trintech Cadency alternative page covers that split.
ReconNET, Frontier and Accurate pricing
These three are Trintech's bank-side products, and none has a public benchmark. ReconNET is sold to credit unions and community banks for daily matching and is often quoted alongside Adra or Cadency. Frontier and Accurate came from Fiserv in July 2023. Trintech is moving the Frontier base to a cloud-hosted deployment, which means many large banks are receiving a fresh quote, often with services attached.
Matching volume. Matcher and Cadency Match are tiered by matched transactions, and daily bank recs grow volume faster than headcount.
Named users. Balancer and Task Manager are priced per user, so adding branch or operations reviewers adds cost.
Module bundling. Close, journal entry and analytics modules are often added to a matching deal, which raises the total even when the discount looks larger.
Services. Implementation and data feed work is quoted separately. For a bank, building core and Nacha feeds is often the largest services line.
Renewal uplift. VendorBenchmark expects 5 to 8 percent a year on the base subscription for Adra, and SpendHound shows enterprise Trintech pricing up 8.92 percent year over year.
How to negotiate a Trintech renewal
VendorBenchmark reports typical discounts of 15 to 25 percent off list for Adra: 8 to 12 percent when there is no competitor in the deal, 12 to 18 percent in a competitive evaluation and 18 to 23 percent with multi-module bundling. The practical steps are the same for every Trintech product.
Step 01
Count your real volume
Pull twelve months of matched items by reconciliation type. Tier pricing rewards knowing whether you are at 1.8 million or 2.3 million.
Step 02
Split the workloads
Separate month end certification from daily settlement matching. They can be priced, and bought, separately.
Step 03
Get two real alternatives
A priced alternative for the daily matching is what moves a discount from the uncontested band to the competitive one.
Step 04
Cap the uplift in writing
Ask for a renewal cap and the overage rate per tier before you sign, not at the next renewal.
If the recommendation has to go to a board or an ALCO meeting, it helps to turn the comparison into a short board deck with the year one and year three totals side by side.

Trintech does not publish prices. SpendHound reports an average of $119,272 a year for mid-size customers and $266,412 a year for enterprises across 160 Trintech customers. Adra is estimated at $40,000 to $200,000 a year in total, while Cadency estimates from competing vendors run from $60,000 to over $1 million a year.
Is Adra cheaper than Cadency?
Yes. Adra is Trintech's mid-market product and is quoted well below Cadency, with implementation also cheaper. Its cost depends on users for Balancer and Task Manager and on matched transaction tiers for Matcher, so a high volume credit union can see Adra pricing climb faster than headcount.
Does Trintech charge per user or per transaction?
Both. Balancer and Task Manager in Adra are priced per user, estimated at $55 to $95 per user a month together, while Matcher is priced in tiers of matched transactions a year. Cadency deals combine users, modules and matching volume. ReconNET and Frontier are quoted per deal.
How much can you negotiate off a Trintech quote?
VendorBenchmark reports 15 to 25 percent off list as typical for Adra, rising with a competitive evaluation and multi-module bundles. The biggest lever is a credible, priced alternative for part of the workload, usually daily settlement matching, plus a written cap on renewal uplift.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Trintech for credit unions?
For daily matching, yes. ReconArt states an average below $50,000 a year and BankAutomation publishes plans from $1,200 a month for 250,000 items. Credit unions that need a full close suite may still keep Adra for certification and move daily share draft, ACH and card matching to a credit union reconciliation software tool.
